About PersonalLoans.ph
Last reviewed: October 11, 2026
PersonalLoans.ph is an independent comparison and information website for people in the Philippines who are thinking about borrowing. We want Filipino borrowers to know their options, the real cost of a loan and their rights before they apply anywhere.
Who runs PersonalLoans.ph
PersonalLoans.ph is owned and operated by Dominet. Our guides and lender pages are written and maintained by the PersonalLoans.ph editorial team. You can reach us any time through our contact page.
What we do
- Publish free, plain-language guides in English and Filipino on comparing loans, understanding interest and fees, government member loans, avoiding scams, and dealing with collectors.
- Run a free loan matcher that ranks our partner lenders against your answers using only what each lender publishes.
- Maintain a lender comparison page that shows each lender's corporate name, SEC Registration No. and Certificate of Authority No. where we have verified them from the SEC's lists or the lender's own website.
What we are not
We are not a bank, lending company or financing company. We do not grant loans, make credit decisions, or collect payments, and we cannot guarantee that any lender will approve your application. Every loan is a contract between you and the lender.
How we make money
We may earn a commission from lenders or affiliate networks when you click through to a lender or apply via our site. This keeps our guides free. Commissions do not change how the loan matcher scores lenders. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
Our editorial standards
- We only list lenders and show registration details we can verify from official sources, and we tell you when we couldn't.
- We never publish “guaranteed approval” claims or invented rates.
- We date every article, show when it was last reviewed, and update guides when rules change.
- We encourage cheaper alternatives (such as Pag-IBIG and SSS loans) where they fit.
The full details are in our editorial policy.
