In short
- We are not a lender. We don't approve loans or set rates.
- We earn a commission from some partners when you click, apply or are approved. It costs you nothing extra.
- Our content is general information, not financial advice.
- Always verify a lender's SEC registration and Certificate of Authority before you apply.
We may be compensated
PersonalLoans.ph participates in affiliate and cost-per-action (CPA) partnerships, directly with lenders and through affiliate networks such as Involve Asia and Leadgid. When you click a partner link, submit a request, apply, or are approved by a partner, we may receive a fee. You don't pay us anything, and the lender's rates and fees are the same whether you come through us or go to them directly.
Independence
We only list lenders we partner with. Lenders without a partnership are not shown, so our site is not a complete list of lenders in the Philippines. Compensation may influence which lenders appear on our site and in what order. Our loan matcher ranks partner lenders using a fixed, published set of rules based on amounts, speed and requirements each lender publishes (see how we match); commissions don't change the score. Payments don't buy positive coverage in our guides, which are written to help you borrow safely, and that includes recommending non-commercial options such as Pag-IBIG and SSS loans where they fit. Links to lenders go through our /go/ redirect so we can track referrals; they are marked as sponsored. See our editorial policy.
Not a lender
PersonalLoans.ph is a comparison and referral website. We are not a bank, lending company, financing company or broker, and we don't hold an SEC Certificate of Authority to lend. We don't make credit decisions, guarantee approval, collect payments or handle collections. Every loan is a contract between you and the lender, and each lender is responsible for its own registration, disclosures and compliance.
Not financial advice
Our guides, comparisons and matcher results are general information only and don't take your personal circumstances into account. They are not financial, legal or tax advice, and not a loan offer. Borrowing has costs and risks: compare the total cost of borrowing (interest plus all fees), read the lender's disclosure statement and terms, and only borrow what you can repay. If you're struggling with debt, consider speaking to a qualified adviser.
Verify SEC registration
In the Philippines, lending and financing companies must be registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and hold a Certificate of Authority (CA); banks are supervised by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). In line with SEC Memorandum Circular No. 19, series of 2019, we display each lender's corporate name, SEC Registration No. and Certificate of Authority No. where we have verified them from the SEC's lists or the lender's official website, and otherwise ask you to verify on sec.gov.ph. Details can change, so check the SEC's list of registered lending and financing companies and its advisories on unregistered online lending apps before you apply.
Accuracy
We work to keep information current, but lenders change products, rates and terms. Always confirm details on the lender's own site. Spotted an error? Let us know.
